The Frankolovo manor was dependent on Lindek castle and its predecessor is first mentioned in 1580, when it was owned by Hans Seidel. In 1604 it became a property of his daughter Elizabeth, the wife of Seifried Gaisruck. From 1615 it is in the hands of doctor of theology Klemens Collin a provost from Strassburg in Carinthia. In 1644 dr. Collin is succeeded by his brother with his sons and around 1690 the manor becomes a property of Catherine J. Teufenbach – Mauerburg. The list of owners changed quickly. In 1876 the manor was renewed by Kamilo the count of Aichelburg just to become a property of English lady Alice Faber in 1881. Today it is an apartment building giving home to a few families.
